Design for Plastics Circularity Challenge 2025
Driving the Future: Hwamda Malaysia and the Malaysia Plastic Industry Embrace Circularity

The "Design for Plastics Circularity Challenge 2025" (DPCC 2025), a groundbreaking initiative by Dow and the Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA), was officially launched today. This competition marks a significant step forward in promoting plastics circularity within the malaysia plastic industry, with Hwamda Malaysia proud to support this crucial movement.
The launch event was officiated by Mr. Yeoh Lian Kuan, Sales Director of South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand for Packaging & Specialty Plastics at Dow, and Ms. Wee Ching Yun, Vice-President of MPMA. The event saw strong engagement from leading universities, highlighting the academic community's growing commitment to sustainable solutions.

During the launch, students and faculty from these universities actively engaged in a lively Q&A session with Dow representatives, demonstrating their deep interest in plastics circularity. Many attendees were already formulating problem statements, showcasing their proactive approach to the competition.
